THANN PRODUCTS: AN OVERVIEW
Thann was founded in 2002 with a goal to produce natural skincare products of the highest quality. The head office is located in the city centre of Bangkok with over 60 employees.
The company promotes only environmentally friendly products and packages, supports human rights and works against animal testing and child labour.
Thann products are produced out of botanical extracts combined with modern medicine science. Inspiration for each series is collected from concepts within aromatherapy and the scientific discoveries to benefit by using botanical oils and extracts.
This has resulted in 6 different scent series with ingredients such as nutmeg, orange- and tangerine oil, lemongrass and kaffir lime, peppermint, thyme and rosemary, lavender and rosemary, shiso and rice bran oil. Two of the series, Rice and Shiso, also has products for a complete face care. In the remaining assortment you can find beautiful and pleasant bathroom accessories and different kinds of teas such as green tea, white tea, jasmine tea and chrysanthemum tea.
THANN is a brand of natural hair and skin care products that you can rely on as THANN products are developed by using knowledge of modern dermatological and herbal science.
HARNN PRODUCTS: AN OVERVIEW
The architect Paul Harnn founded the company in 1999 and has over the years been awarded several prizes for his unique design and his striking concept.
Harnn holistic approach centers on restoring the natural balance of your body, mind and your immediate surroundings. Natural botanical extracts with roots in traditional herbal medicine and proven scientific properties provide the active ingredients to counter the effects of stress and pollution from urban lifestyle and environment. Harnn products are not animal tested and does not use child labour in any part of the production.
The Harnn assortment consists among others bath & massage oils, shampoos, conditioners, hair treatments, facial care, body scrubs, body lotions, bath salts, scented candles, essential oils and over 50 soap products in more than 25 scents as cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, green tea, rose, lavender, lime and lemongrass.
The products distinguishing features are the rice bran oil which is extracted from the special Thai rice Oryza sativa and is used as a base ingredient in most of the products. Rice bran oil is rich in natural antioxidants in the shape of three Vitamin E's which softens, moisturizes and gives a natural protection against UV-rays. Other ingredients are botanical oils and extracts with different dermatological properties. The herbs and spices that can be recognized in Asian cooking represents an important roll in Harnn's products.
To preserve old Thai handicraft tradition they have turned it into modern design to create unique packages made out of nature materials such as bamboo, water hyacinth, mulberry and reed for your own appreciation or to give to someone you care about.
